The songs are fun and energetic.
“Each week the children of the nursery really look forward to their French singing. The sessions are differentiated to meet the needs of the children and are all fully inclusive. The songs are fun and energetic. Debbie who leads the group is great, she keeps the children focused by using props to support the songs.”
Learning a language through catchy songs
"Singing in Spanish is a fantastic idea. Learning a language through catchy songs makes it more interesting and easy for the children to remember.
All the children at Teddies really look forward to Wednesday afternoons, they talk about the activity and can often be heard singing the songs. Laurie is fantastic with the children and they all love her.
Even the staff have learnt some Spanish too! I highly recommend!”
Fun, flamboyant and educational
I take my daughter to Muchachos once a week and we thoroughly enjoy ourselves. Debbie, whom speaks fluent Spanish, makes the sessions fun and flamboyant, but also incorporates learning. She does this by using fun songs, actions and games to teach the language to the children. My daughter who is three has been attending since she was 20 months. She
can now count in Spanish, she knows many Spanish words and a few songs and phrases.
Debbie is very friendly and encouraging and the children feel at ease in her classes.
Friendly and welcoming
Both Noemi and I love going to the Muchachos Spanish classes. They are fun, entertaining and we both get the chance to run around, sing, dance and let our hair down. The group is friendly and welcoming and Debbie is really good with the children – she adapts the class to the mood of the children rather than sticking to
a regimented structure. The children learn Spanish naturally through the songs and not in a boring “verbs and pronouns” grammar way. We really do love the classes and I am more than happy to recommend them
So much fun
My son was one of the first to start attending Debbie\'s Spanish classes and I can\'t recommend them highly enough. Debbie is outstanding - warm and natural with the children who absolutely adore her. Its amazing to see how at such a young age they have picked up the concept of a foreign language, and how many words they have
already learnt. They both went to a summer camp this year, and were counting down the hours until they could go every day. They have so much fun at the classes they learn without even noticing!
Thank you so much
Thank you so much for today, the children all had a great experience and thoroughly enjoyed their session. All the staff thought the sessions were brilliant too! I particularly liked how you spoke in Spanish the whole time, just giving brief English directions.
Fantastic way to learn a new language even if you already bilingual
We have started Singing Spanish with my 3 year old little girl about a year ago. Since, she has learned to count til ten, knows so many colours, names of animals and foods and she has memorized many Nursery Rhymes in spanish especially the stories about animals.
Cant wait to go to the next class, Debbie is just a brilliant teacher! Thank you!
Fab classes for pre-schoolers!
I have been taking my two boys (2&4) to C'est Chouette classes with Debbie since January 2013 and they absolutely love them. My 4 year old has picked up so much and was really confident talking to people when we went on holiday to France. Despite not saying a lot, my 2 year old understands so much and continues to amaze me.
These classes are a fantastic introduction to languages for children and Debbie makes them really enjoyable for both kids and adults! My eldest son is gutted he can't go anymore due to starting school!
Highly recommend :)
So much fun!
We love Debbie's Spanish classes!
There is music, dance and stories and lots of fun, colourful props. Plus the music is latino and funky (not plinky-plonky and annoying like most kids music).
My 3 year old son and 15 month old girl really enjoy it and we talk about it all week. Plus we have the CD in the car on repeat. My son has started to sing and say things in Spanish unprompted.
A totally fun and worthwhile activity for toddlers.
We all enjoyed it immensely!
